Elizabeth Bauer
Elizabeth has worked in Human Resources for over 30 years. During her career, she was the Director of Human Resources for a government contractor responsible for HR policies and procedures, performance management and compensation systems, workforce development and training, and more. Since retiring in 2015, she has been a community activist and a founding Board Member and Chair of Envision Frederick County.
Her recent focus has been founding the Frederick County Data Center Referendum Committee in January 2026 working to ensure sustainably based data center growth occurs in Frederick County. She, along with 3 other community activists, were successful in obtaining the required number of signatures on a Referendum Petition seeking to allow the citizens to have a voice in the recent land use changes made by the Frederick County Government. She has also been combating the Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project (MPRP) and She is a founding member of the Maryland Data Centers Analysis Group and serves on the Editorial Board. She is a Senior Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Certified Trainer in Leadership and Teamwork, PAR Skills.
She lives in Middletown with her husband and two dogs.
