Sam Newhouse

I’m Sam Newhouse and I am a lifelong learner and am devoted to educating the public about sustainability and resilience. I began my career as a videographer and editor in 2015, after completing a bachelors degree in Film from The Pennsylvania State University. In 2023, I moved to New Jersey and began working with the Morris County Habitat for Humanity Restore; I saw the need for affordable housing as dire and decided to help. I recently moved back to my home town in New Market, Maryland, and took an interest in local politics during the latter half of the CDI Overlay process.

I have worked with educators, scientists, and nonprofits, and conveyed their messages in multimedia format to their target audiences.

I will bring a sharp understanding of language, a mastery of multimedia, and an unquenchable passion to advance sustainable initiatives.
